Steering the creative helm as the head graphic designer for The Bison, my role was a dynamic fusion of various responsibilities. This spanned adeptly managing a spectrum of graphic visuals, actively participating in newsroom brainstorming sessions, collaborating with writers and editors to craft visual concepts that seamlessly complemented stories— all punctuated by weekly deadlines. The creative magic unfolded through the adept utilization of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, intertwining seamlessly to visually articulate these concepts. Additionally, I lent a hand in the layout process, ensuring that every element harmonized with the visual narrative of The Bison's pages.
